Reunited and it feels so good? Once upon a time they were considered the Lucy and Ethel of reality TV, but Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita’s friendship fell apart several seasons ago after Jacqueline questioned Teresa’s criminal ways lifestyle choices.

Now that the two are both participating in Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will they be able to repair their friendship like the good ole days?

Wednesday night, at Teresa’s “Turning the Tables” book signing event, Jacqueline said things were much better now.

“It’s going really well. We’re working on repairing, rebuilding our friendship, and it seems to be going really well,” Jacqueline told Bravo’s Dish, “I’m here tonight, right? I’m very proud of her, and I think she’s a very strong person, a strong woman. I just wish her well.”

The first time Teresa and Jacqueline saw one another was at the end of December and it went better than Jacqueline anticipated.

“Surprisingly, it felt like old times. It felt like seeing somebody alive after a war,” she said. “It felt more comfortable than I thought it was gonna be.”

During Season 6, Jacqueline took a break to concentrate on her family. Her thoughts on returning to the show? “I think it’s going really good,” Jacqueline said. “This season’s gotten very deep, it’s funny, it’s emotional, it’s heartwarming.”

Andy Cohen described the relationship between the two ladies as “very fiery” this season and Jacqueline admits to the many ups and downs.

“It’s been a roller coaster at times, but we’re trying to get back on track and stay on track because there’s a history there, you fight harder. It has more meaning when you have history. It’s like when you have family. I feel like she was my sister, and we’ve had falling outs. It’s like the work we’re both putting in trying to repair the damage that’s been done. And so it’s not always easy.”

And don’t forget, Teresa’s got a lot on her mind with Joe’s impending prison date. So will there be a happy ending for this friendship? Jacqueline says “anything’s possible” but it can’t be “one-sided.”

“People always used to say we’re Lucy and Ethel, and we’ve had those moments, so I could see it. Sometimes relationships take work,” Jacqueline explains. “I think anything’s possible if two people are willing to put in the work and it’s a sincere effort, then it works. It can’t be one-sided.”
