‘Mob Wives’ Big Ang Battling Stage 4 Lung and Brain Cancer — Chemo Not Working
Life threw Mob Wives star Angela ‘Big Ang’ Raiola a devastating curve ball in her battle with cancer. The lovable gentle giant is battling stage 4 lung and brain cancer and her prognosis is dim.
Chemotherapy treatments she started after the New Year is not helping the disease from spreading and one of the tumors has even grown bigger.
Ang’s sister tells TMZ, her breathing is “labored” and “she’s in a lot of pain.” As a last resort, they’ve decided to try managing her pain with cannabis oil.
At $60 per gram, the alternative treatment is very expensive but believed to shrink tumors, although not scientifically proven.
The reality star’s family has created a GoFundMe page to help assist with the costly cannabis treatments.
On Tuesday, her “Mobs Wives” castmate and friend, Renee Graziano, Instagrammed a photo in support of Ang, with the caption, “Friends like sisters…All my prayers sit this close..to the ones I love Send our super star #bigang some love … All is well.”

The VH1 star announced in March of 2015 that she had a large tumor in her throat and underwent two major surgeries to remove the lump and the lymph nodes.
