Phaedra Parks sat in the dramatic legal spotlight during Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The shady diva and lawyers met to launch divorce proceedings, in order to free Phaedra from her imprisoned husband, Apollo Nida. The southern belle poser was workin’ it, but while the doting mama helped her tot make a birthday card for his jailed daddy, the warm and fuzzy scene was likely a distraction from what was really going on.

Viewers have watched Phaedra struggle with her longtime friendship with Kandi Burruss, with much of the discord stemming from Apollo entrusting Kandi’s husband, Todd, with some personal and pricey playthings.

Phaedra clearly resented her husband’s efforts to stash his goods, and Kandi’s willingness to hold the property hostage. It probably didn’t take long for Phaedra Parks, always the slippery character, to move on to Plan B. Phaedra had lost, and Apollo certainly wouldn’t be allowed to win.

Fast forward a couple of months, and the U.S. government is suddenly given the green light to seize Nida’s property, in order to trim his monstrous $2 million restitution debt. On November 17, 2015, the U.S. Marshals Service was directed to seize a silver Ducati 899 Panicale Motorcycle, a white with red top Yamaha Raptor 700R 4-Wheeler ATV, and any property in which [Nida] has a substantial nonexempt interest. The property would be found at the address of Mrs. Kandi Burruss Tucker.

Preview scenes reveal cast members discussing the Feds seizure, while connecting the dots between a peeved wife, and a lost profit opportunity.  It is a no brainier to deduce that Phaedra Parks ratted out her husband to the Feds, and directed them to where he was hiding his valuable goods. Justice won, but only because Phaedra Parks lost.
