Sheree Whitfield Shares Her Opinion on Kim Fields’ “Inconsiderate” Behavior
Sheree Whitfield joined Phaedra Parks at the Million Man March last Sunday on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She brought her son, Kairo, to the event. We’ve seen him grow from teenager to a young man, and Sheree is proud of his success.
“Kairo is currently keeping busy in college and learning how to navigate life with his newfound freedom and independence!”
Kim Fields brought her kids along, as well. But Kim kept skipping out of events, not only because her youngest son grew fussy, but because she thought some of the topics discussed were too mature for her older son. Sheree was not pleased.
“…I do feel she was a bit inconsiderate. I say this because Phaedra took the time to coordinate this trip… If Kim would have been considerate, she would have made the necessary arrangements to have a nanny, family member, or sitter assist on the trip. As a single mother of three, I know firsthand what it is like to travel with children…”
The ladies met with some the nation’s movers and shakers.
“Not many people have the opportunity to sit with members of congress and discuss what can be done to affect change in our communities.”
When Sheree talked to the mothers of slain sons, she was moved to tears.
“…a beautiful opportunity to connect with the mothers of these victims and share in their powerful stories of overcoming adversity.”
Though Kim may have missed out, Sheree was glad for the opportunity.
“Being at the MMM was truly a transformative experience. Not only was I able to witness and take part in history, but I was also able to share this experience with my son. For him to be able to see us all come together, united for social justice, and hear the stories of these mothers really meant a lot to the both of us.”
What do you think about Kim’s behavior on the trip? Did you find her disrespectful?
