Congratulations to Real Housewives of Orange County alum, Kara Keough, and husband Kyle Bosworth on their first child, a healthy 8 pound, 19.5 inches long little girl!
Decker Kate Bosworth was born Thursday night, at 7:26 p.m. Kara spoke to E! News, and shared the happy details.
“Decker Kate Bosworth was born with a full head of brown hair and pretty blue eyes,” her proud mom said. “Daddy Kyle Bosworth cut the umbilical cord and grandma Jeana Keough got on a flight the second I was being admitted, she arrived in Florida about 5 hours after Decker’s birth.”
Kara dished about her “quick and easy delivery after an amazing pregnancy.”
“I’m so lucky,” she said. “No morning sickness, no pregnancy waddle and I wore heels to the hospital—I thought I was just coming in for my weekly check up and apparently Decker had other plans,” adding that her new daughter is “is just like her mama—fashionably early and a big eater.”
The name “Kate” is a nod to both Kara and Kyle’s maternal grandmothers.
Kara was an O.C. standout, as the spunky and outspoken teen daughter of Orange County original, Jeana Keough. Viewers have seen Kara pop back onto the Bravo stage, in occasional RHOC cameo spots.
Congratulations to the new parents and to the first-time grandma too! Welcome to the world Decker Kate!
