Ashley Darby – Miss District of Columbia 2011 is married to an Australian real-estate millionaire who is 29 years her senior. In fact, Ashley is younger than one of her step-children. Awkward! Ashley’s dreams are to open a fresh food restaurant and have a baby.
Charrisse Jackson Jordan – Is a wife, mother, and socialite who loves to shop, socialize and travel. Her husband of 18 years is ex-NBA turned coach, Eddie Jordan. What is the secret to making their marriage work? Living apart.
Karen Huger – Comes from humble beginnings of growing up on a farm. She is considered that “supreme grand dame” of Potomac and known for throwing over-the-top parties. Her philosophy is family comes first and is dreading becoming an empty-nester.
Katie Rost – Is an international model and TV personality. Born and raised in Potomac affluence, Katie is a single mom to a 3 year-old and 14 month twins. Currently she is dating an investment executive and wants to give marriage another shot.
Gizelle Bryant – Socialite and single mom to three daughters, Gizelle was married to megachurch pastor Jamal Bryant. She keeps herself busy with philanthropic projects, starting a make-up line and is embracing a new chapter of dating.
Robyn Dixon – Is a busy publicist, event manager and single mom. Once married to professional basketball player, Juan Dixon, the two remain extremely close. How close? They still live together!
In the first episode grand dame, Karen Huger, schools Gizelle Bryant of the rules of Potomac, starting with – don’t sit in the birthday girl’s seat.
“Do you know what you did at my birthday party?” Huger sasses to Bryant. “You sat in the center of the table, first of all.”
Huger continues, “You’re not the honoree. I’m the birthday girl, and you were at the center of my table sitting there like, ‘Okay it’s my birthday!’”
Bryant’s response is classic housewives.
“Karen, you don’t have to school me on etiquette. I didn’t come from the cabbage patch. I have a legacy and a pedigree. You grew up on a farm.”
Ouch! These women will fit in just fine with the rest of the RH club. The Real Housewives of Potomac premieres Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
