Drita couldn’t go to Renee‘s Mermaid Parade so she’s catching up and see how it went. Renee says it was exciting, and fun. Renee fills Drita in on what happened with Love/Carla. Drita screams that’s a lie. The last time she saw Love was three years ago. Drita explodes on Renee and blames Karen, Renee and Carla for making up and becoming friends again. Huh? Renee doesn’t understand what went down with Drita and Carla. They never had an argument. Drita is pissed at Renee. She says they’re all fake. Drita storms out on very confused Renee. So am I!
Brittany is bouncing between PA and Staten Island. After all the drama with Renee, it’s good to relax. Brittany fills her mom in on what happened with Renee. She says everyone has “intense personalities.” Her mom says Renee didn’t understand the impact of what happened. Brittany doesn’t appreciate Renee judging her. Her mom tries to explain “their way of thinking.” Her mom warns about using her fists to solve problems. Brittany says she’ll use her fist if she has to. Her mom says only if someone gets into your personal space. Brittany says she’s opinionated. She doesn’t care if people don’t like it.
Karen meets Renee and Carla for brunch. Karen thinks it’s amazing they’re in a good place now. She says when you’re grown you can get past your issues and move on. Karen is having problems with her boyfriend Storm. They have communication issues. Carla says whenever she’s stressed out she picks up her bags and heads to The Hamptons. She wants to have a “girls weekend” there. Karen wants to bring her cousin, and Brittany. Renee says she has problems with Brittany. Karen says Renee needs to give Brittany a chance. Carla says Drita isn’t invited. Renee talks about her meeting with Drita. Carla doesn’t understand why Drita has problems with the three of them being friends. Karen thinks Drita is fake. She went off on the wrong person. Renee says she needs to have another conversation with Drita. She says one more conversation and she’s done.
Renee meets with the other new girl Marissa. She’s getting her makeup done at a place named “pucker.” Marissa grew up “in the life.” Karen and Renee know her boyfriend “O.Z.” Renee says Marissa has a “Staten Island attitude.” Marissa says growing up in Staten Island was tough. Her mom is Chinese. Her dad’s Italian. Girls were catty. She says she doesn’t do things for attention. She does them because she wants to. She gets attention without the camera. Renee is an O.Z. fan. He’s very respected on the streets. Renee talks about The Mermaid Parade, and her problem with Brittany. Renee invites Marissa to girls weekend. She warns Marissa about Brittany’s mouth. Marissa is a no BS person.
Ang and Drita go health food shopping. Ang complains about her new diet. Drita compares Ang health food shopping to a torture chamber. Ang supports Drita’s literary aspirations. She says it’s her book and her story. Drita‘s still pissed about Love/Carla. She says it’s been three years. Does anyone have a life? Ang says she heard about what happened. She doesn’t believe a word of Love‘s story. She’s over that girl. Drita is aggravated by “The Three Amigos.” Drita says Carla disappeared from the face of the Earth then came out through Karen’s a**hole. Ang isn’t sure she should go on the girls weekend trip, but Drita says she needs a vacation. She should go. Ang feels bad Drita is the odd man out. Drita drones on about them all being fake.
Karen wants to talk to Storm about their communication issues so they can move forward. She wants more respect. Storm wants to talk about his club opening. Storm‘s handling his business. He doesn’t have time for Karen. His mind is on money right now. He doesn’t have time for Karen’s feelings. Storm walks away. Karen’s done.
Brittany’s happy Karen invited her to The Hamptons. She wants to relax, and sip cocktails by the pool. She’s not worried about Renee and her opinion. Renee’s putting her issues with Brittany aside, but she still doesn’t trust her. Ang calls Marissa a little sexy one. They hop in the back of the party bus, sip mimosas, and celebrate. Renee says The Hamptons don’t know what’s coming. Marissa complains. Renee isn’t surprised. The girls (Minus Marissa) get excited about the mansion. Marissa rather be at the Ritz. All the girls get excited to go out. Renee stays home in bed. She’s exhausted. Brittany’s ready to party. Marissa’s more reserved. Ang mentions Lee bugging out over Drita writing a book. Karen says now she knows how it feels. Drita had problems with Karen’s book. Karen thinks there might be some truth to Love’s claims. A long time ago Love said Drita isn’t sticking up for Carla anymore. Ang believes none of it. Brittany jumps into the conversation. Marissa has a problem with that because she doesn’t know Drita or Love. Ang says Drita called them fake and phony. Karen says she’ll be paying Drita a visit when they get home.
While the girls are in The Hamptons, Drita is home writing her book. She’s doing it with or without her hubby’s support. Drita makes a deal with her daughter. If she cries, her daughter cheers her up. Her daughter wants 20 bucks. Drita talks to her daughter about the book. She wrote about Lee’s arrest.
The girls hang out by the pool. Renee’s feeling better. Everyone else is hung over. Karen says her eyes go green when she’s horny. Marissa calls Brittany a lush. She has no idea what a lush is, so Renee looks it up. Karen is down with the party girl attitude. She’s with Brittany. Carla brings up Drita again. For Renee’s benefit of course. Carla says Drita’s changed over the years. She’s a different person. Renee doesn’t understand why Drita thinks everyone is a fake and phony. She doesn’t care anymore.
The girls go to a vineyard for some wine tasting. It’s more Marissa’s speed. She’s not into shots like Brittany. Marissa talks crap about Brittany’s drinking habits. After the tasting they go for a little walk outside. Carla planned a cocktail party. Marissa calls Brittany a lush again. The moment is awkward. They start arguing. Karen and Ang want to have fun. Marissa shouldn’t concern herself with Brittany’s drinking habits. It turns into this big argument.
