Kylie Jenner’s Boyfriend Tyga Contacted Underage Teen Molly O’Malia
Tyga is receiving some unwanted attention – again. A 14-year old model/singer by the name of Molly O’Malia has retained the infamous attorney Gloria Allred to represent her against Tyga’s “creepy” unwanted attention.
The boyfriend of Kylie Jenner (who was under 18 when she started dating him) is being accused by O’Malia of inappropriately texting and repeated requests for online contact. After an OK! magazine article depicted O’Malia as coming between Jenner and Tyga, she has become the target of attacks, and this is why she’s hired Allred.
Rep’s for the rapper are confirming with TMZ that Tyga did reach out to the model/singer, though he did so to “potentially discuss her music career” for his record label, Last Kings Records. According to Tyga’s manager, Anthony Martini, there was nothing inappropriate or “uncomfortable” about the exchange and the producers were right alongside Tyga during the FaceTime request merely as a way to hear her sing. Furthermore, they are claiming that O’Malia lied about her age and presented herself as 17.
Is this a case of blaming the victim or opportunism? You decide. Here is Molly O’Malia’s statement from the press conference.
Tyga contacted me first. He direct messaged me on Instagram…I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication. I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring it up in his next message. However, he didn’t mention it in the next message. I began to feel uncomfortable when he asked me to FaceTime with him. He asked me to FaceTime with him three times, but I didn’t do it. Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me, I stopped responding.
