Tis the season for the reason Gia Giudice tweeted about her mother’s homecoming. As you’ve heard by now, Teresa Giudice, ex-con and star of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, was released from Danbury FCI today.

Although Teresa was separated from her daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana for nearly a year, her attorney, James Leonard Jr., clarified that she’s been a “daily presence in their lives.”

“It’s been very, very difficult for her and her daughters, but they’ve communicated,” Leonard said. “They’ve seen one another with visits and emails and phone calls. They’ve been able to Skype one another. She’s been a daily presence in their lives. But, obviously, there’s no substitute for actually not being there. So for her to come home and be reunited with them is something that both she and the girls are very much looking forward to.”

Teresa will complete the remainder of her 15-month sentence under house arrest in her Montville, New Jersey, mansion with an ankle monitor bracelet. Hopefully the feds will let her bling it out. No word yet if Teresa will be permitted to film with RHONJ or if she will have to wait until Feb 5 when the monitor device comes off.
