On Sunday night’s explosive episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, there was an ominous dark cloud that filled the night’s atmosphere. Tammy McCall-Browning’s nephew, Glen Rice Jr. got into an ugly altercation that quickly escalated, turning a fun-filled evening into a violent episode.

Glen Anthony Rice, Jr. is a basketball player who last played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA “Development” League. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2013 NBA Draft, but he was traded on draft night to the Wizards.

Throughout the episode, Glen’s behavior becomes increasingly crazy bizarre and erratic. First, he was rude to Kenya Moore for innocently snapping her fingers at him to get his attention, then he went after a pregnant Kandi in a threatening way.

Kenya and Kandi alert Tammy to her nephew’s behavior and she agrees he needs to go. Kenya then took up the charge to ask Glen to leave, “I’ve been trying to talk to you all day, you’ve been really weird. You have made other people feel uncomfortable here. I just want you to leave,” Kenya calmly tells Glen. Seems like a reasonable request to me but not to Glen. He flew into a rage and proceeded to make gang signs with his hands before calling Kenya a “b*tch” and charging towards her! Kenya backed away and screamed, “SECURITY!”

In the following exclusive video , Glen makes his gang gestures at the 10-second mark.

That’s when all hell breaks loose….security steps in and Glen pushes his aunt, Tammy to the ground, so that he could fight the security team. The security team tackled Glen to the ground, subdued him and carted him off in handcuffs.

Tammy hits her head on the stone floor and passes out. She was later taken to the hospital and released with no concussion. Rice was not arrested, but it was clear he was no longer welcome.

Kenya confirmed Glen’s use of gang signs, she tweeted, “Yes he did throw up gang signs #RHOA.”

This is not Rice’s first violent altercation, In October (2015) he was involved in an altercation with a group of men outside an Atlanta restaurant when he was shot in the leg. He was found to be in possession of marijuana in that incident.

Then in 2013, Rice was charged with permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle in relation to a shooting incident outside of an Atlanta nightclub.

Rice clearly has issues and Kenya’s instincts were spot on in asking him to leave. During the episode, Kenya tweeted, “What you all didn’t see before he left was him threatening to kill everyone #facts #rhoa.” Yikes!
