All About The Tea_Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8

Phaedra Parks, undertaker, lawyer, southern belle, and star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, didn’t have a lot to say in her blog this week. In fact, it looked like a carefully worded press release. But then this episode was all about the fight between Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey, and since Phaedra didn’t have a ringside seat for that battle, we didn’t see much of her.

What’s her take on the fight? Is she picking sides?

“Porsha and Cynthia are both passionate, strong-willed women; so a simple misunderstanding quickly escalated. …They both took responsibility for their respective actions and that afforded them the ability to move forward.”

Is she surprised things went that far between the two women?

“With the history of this group, nothing surprises me anymore.”

Phaedra briefly touches on life without Apollo.

“Being a single parent has its daily challenges and can certainly be stressful at times. The hardest part is seeing my children grow up without the presence of their father. It’s very important, particularly for boys, to have a positive male role model to show them how to grow into successful and responsible young men.”

Kandi and Kenya had a moment during brunch. Kandi basically called Kenya out for pointing fingers at others, but never herself. What does Phaedra think about that?

“Like I said, nothing surprises me anymore with this group of women. Kandi expressed what was on her mind, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”

So, kittens, is Phaedra doing enough to keep her peach status? It seems like she’s phoning it in this season, but after last year’s drama with Apollo, I guess it’s understandable. What do you think?
