Jenelle Evans’ Ex-Husband Courtland Rogers Sentenced to Lengthy Prison Sentence

Following multiple arrests, troubled Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, was sentenced to a lengthy prison sentence for drug charges after pleading guilty on Wednesday to possession of heroin and “being a habitual felon.

On Tuesday (Dec 8), the judge sentenced Rogers to 20 to 36 months in prison for possession of heroin and being a habitual felon.

Her 29-year-old ex was arrested on Nov. 20, 2015 in Brunswick County, North Carolina, later pleading guilty to the charges when he told Judge Ola Lewis that he last used heroin 45 days ago.

Rogers is currently being held in the Brunswick County Jail but it’s not determined where he’ll serve his prison sentence.

Rogers and Evans are no stranger to jails and drugs, the couple were arrested together in April 2013 for heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and assault. The pair officially divorced in June 2014 after the mandatory year of separation due to North Carolina state law.

Evans and Rogers were married for 18-months.

Rogers has struggled with addiction for a long time and recently appeared in a North Carolina TV news station’s documentary about heroin, “In the Vein: Hooked on Heroin.”
