The Real Housewives of Atlanta debuted with an explosive Season 8 opener but one new cast member that is on the outskirts of the controversy is, Kim Fields. Kim’s co-star, Kenya Moore, weighs in via her Bravo blog this week to spill some tea on newest Housewife.

“I have worked with Kim in the past, when I was a guest star on…Living Single and later on Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns. We joked about how shady she was to me back then during our meeting.”

And as for her impressions of Kim now:

“…she was very reserved and subdued — a far cry from the fun and feisty character she played in the ‘90s. Now she was exciting to watch!”

About the ongoing Cynthia/Peter meltdown, Kenya is backing her girl Cynthia.

“…I know for a fact that Cynthia was negatively impacted by Peter’s reckless behavior. However, I believe Peter truly loves Cynthia and I hope they can work it out, God willing.”

On Phaedra/Kandi peace summit, Kenya is skeptical that all is forgiven—at least as far as Phaedra is concerned.

“Speaking from experience, I do not know what’s in Phaedra’s heart. She often says one thing but has contradictory actions. I also believe Phaedra holds grudges… I simply do not believe Phaedra is capable of truly wiping the slate clean. She pointed so many fingers at Kandi but never took responsibility for her own actions…”

I have to agree. I don’t think Phaedra is ready to kiss and make up, despite what we saw in this week’s episode.

So what do you think? Will Kenya and Kim become fast friends? Or are they frenemies in the making?
