As previously reported, filming for The Real Housewives of New York season 8 has started, however, three veteran housewives are refusing to shoot until Bravo shows them the money!

Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and Luann de Lesseps are demanding salary raises on the same pay scale as Bethenny Frankel.

Bethenny Frankel, Carole Radziwill and Dorinda Medley have signed contracts for season 8. However, a new report claims the Big Apple holdouts, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan’s ambitious negotiating tactics with Bravo have backfired! The ladies have been demoted to “friends of” status and offered pay-per-appearance contracts at a rate of $20,000 per scene.

“They actually can make more money on [this] rate,” a source tells Page Six. Because “they don’t have to work six days a week, and they don’t have to go to events or go on vacations” that are filmed with the rest of the cast. Most of the stars have various side projects.

Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman, have quit or not been asked to return to the Bravo reality show. Stay tuned as this story develops.
