Real Housewives of Orange County’s Meghan King Edmonds Slams Vicki Gunvalson
Meghan King Edmonds, 31, has had plenty of drama during her rookie season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The OC newcomer spent most of her season prying into Vicki Gunvalson’s ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis and picking fights with Gunvalson, 53. Now that season 10 is behind her, Meghan continues her off-screen rift with Gunvalson. Edmonds tells People magazine,
“I don’t consider Vicki a friend. I’ve never filmed with just her.” Meghan continues, “I think she is a filthy liar who plays the victim, and I refuse to ever willingly associate myself with that.”
Following a rough season and reunion, Gunvalson is picking up the pieces and moving forward after revealing she also has doubts about her ex, Brooks Ayers cancer diagnosis. She is no longer defending him against allegations from her costars.
“I care too much about my reputation than to tarnish it by pretending to be friends with a reality television actress,” Edmonds, 31, adds. “I bring real stories to the Housewives and I won’t sink to the level of associating with fakeness.”
Edmonds co-stars, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador, spoke out on Tuesday during Dubrow’s new PodcastOne show which centered on Gunvalson.
“I think when someone comes into a reality show fabricating their reality it damages my authenticity and my credibility,” said Beador.
Edmonds goes on to reiterate the future of a friendship with Vicki,
“I have never been friends with Vicki and after last season I can promise I will never be friends with her,” she says. “Why would I film with someone who I am not friends with and have absolutely no intention of becoming friends with.”
