Ex-Mistress of #RHOC Star Shannon Beador’s Husband Speaks! “This Has Been an Extremely Trying Time”

You choose the behavior and you choose the consequence. That’s what I feel Dr. Phil would say to the ex-mistress of David Beador, Nicole McMackin, who released a “joint” statement with her husband Reed. Mostly the quote was from Reed prompted by the run in with David and Shannon at the USC game over the weekend saying “it’s extremely difficult to move forward with the constant attention.”

Knock, knock. Who’s there? Boo friggin. Boo friggin who? Boo friggen who they can’t move forward due to the constant attention.

“This has been an extremely trying time,” the statement began from the McMackin’s to ET. “We have done our best to work through our issues in private. Nicole understands that she made a terrible mistake and there has been an incredible price paid by both families.”

The affair was one of this season’s uncomfortable storylines on The Real Housewives of Orange County. We watched Shannon struggle to forgive David and David struggle to continually apologize. During the football game, Shannon posted on Instagram about her confrontation with the #narcissist and #stalker named Nicole. In a cruel twist of fate, the Beador’s and McMackin’s were sitting a mere 15 rows apart. Shannon wrote, “Someone with no moral compass decided to show up again.”

The McMackin’s continued their joint statement.

“We want everyone to understand that we love each other very much, and that I have completely forgiven her,” Reed said. “We have reached a place where we are moving forward as a family. We believe that our future can be one of happiness, and hope the same for the Beador family. However, it is extremely difficult to move forward with the constant attention drawn to this difficult situation by the Beadors.”

Shannon spoke to ET about the altercation. “I was shocked to see that she was there, so this time, I’m not going to roll over” when the McMackin’s “could have bought tickets anywhere.” Shannon said to them “You have a lot of nerve being here!” Informing everyone within earshot, “’This is the woman who had an affair with my husband!”

Insiders said that Reed allegedly “stepped in during Saturday’s altercation between the two women” and had harsh words for the reality star saying, “Shannon, go sit down. No money to be made here. Please let us be.”

The McMackin’s continued their statement about the effect this is having on their children.

“As private citizens, it is difficult to see our pictures all over the internet, and have articles written about us. This kind of attention has been extremely trying not only to us, but more importantly, our two children. We have done our very best to keep our lives, and those of our children out of the public domain.”

If you say so. In conclusion, the McMackin’s wrote,

“We never have, nor will we ever seek out public attention about this very painful, private matter, and we are hoping that the Beadors, Bravo, and the other cast members will allow us and our children to live our lives in peace.”
