Khloe Kardashian Speaks Out Since Lamar’s Overdose & Wants to Take A Break From Reality TV
Khloe Kardashian has finally broken her silence since her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, overdosed at a brothel near Las Vegas. She took to her website to thank the well wishers.
Khloe wrote, “The past week has been so incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar.”
In other words, those who have sent crass remarks and negative posts, Khloe is not thanking you.
Khloe continued, “I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made.”
Although Odom has been on a downward spiral for sometime, Khloe is grateful for the support.
“You can never be prepared for an experience like this,” Khloe said about Odom’s ordeal. “But without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!! XOXO, Khloe.”
Now insiders are saying that Khloe wants to take a break from filming “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” to take care of Odom. The question is, will famed momager, Kris Jenner, allow her daughter the time off?
Odom was discharged from the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas less than a week after he was found unconscious and unresponsive at the brothel Love Ranch. In addition, Kris has already “expressed concern” that Khloe paid for Lamar’s expensive helicopter ride, which set her back $120,000. This might sound like a lot of money to you and me, but let’s face it, to the Kardashians this kind gesture is a drop in the bucket.
Meanwhile, Khloe is said to have put her relationship with NBA Houston Rockets star, James Harden, on hold while she helps Odom on his road to recovery.
