Hold the filming! Word has leaked that Teresa Giudice, imprisoned star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, may not be able to film upon her release, dashing plans for an immediate comeback. Insiders are saying the Bureau of Prisons may not allow Teresa to film during the first two months of her release. At this time she will be under house arrest, wearing ankle “jewelry,” and living within restrictions as part of her probationary conditions.

Bravo has already delayed filming RHONJ in order to capture Teresa’s release and exploit share her time with husband, Joe, and daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and  Adrianna, before he turns himself into the feds in March.

“It looks like Teresa might not be able to film while she is under house arrest,’ an insider told RadarOnline. “The Bureau of Prison’s has to sign off on it, and no decision has been made.”

So no news is good news…if you’re Teresa. There’s still time for her attorney to get the bureau to  agree to filming as part of Teresa’s “right to work” or something like that. If her attorney can’t work his magic, Teresa will have to wait until February 2016 to start filming.

“Bravo had hoped to film Teresa and Joe’s final days  together before he begins serving his four year prison sentence beginning in March.” The insider added, “The entire show revolves around Teresa. So the network has no other choice but to wait.”

Teresa will be very busy in February. He memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewives to Inmate and Back Again is set to be completed by the editor released on Feb 9.

Sound off. Who has the power? Bravo or Teresa? And do you think Teresa should delay the book’s release until after Joe’s confinement in order to spend those final days together as a family?
