Will #RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice Go To A Halfway House After Prison Release?
Will she or won’t she go to a halfway house? That is the question being asked as Teresa Giudice, imprisoned star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, prepares to be released from Danbury in December. At this time, federal authorities have left “that option open.”
However, an insider is saying that Teresa will not be required to move into a halfway house. Instead she can pass “Go” collect her $200 (thousand) for her Bravo post incarceration interview and be home in time for the holidays,
“Teresa won’t be required to go to a halfway house because that is typically for those that have been behind bars for a much longer term than the thirteen months Teresa will have served,” the insider explained to RadarOnline. “Individuals that go to a halfway house need assistance and to be monitored as they transition back into society. Teresa wasn’t sent away long enough for that to be an issue.”
For Teresa’s length of sentence, parole terms are usually set in place for one to five years, and depending on each situation, can include drug testing, participation in mental health programs, and the requirement to get a job. The job will be tricky because Teresa’s presence could become a nuisance to her future employer, even if that employer is sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, at her new boutique.
Most likely, unless under pressure from Bravo for filming purposes, Teresa will not want to take orders from Melissa. Can you picture the catfights now over how to properly fold a scarf? The insider said that fans will “be stunned at how much she has changed, for the better since serving time.” And that Teresa “no longer takes anything for granted and wants to work with women that haven’t been as fortunate as she has.”
Let’s hear it. Do you think Teresa has changed for the better? And if so, how long do you think her new attitude will last?
