EXCLUSIVE: Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Having Major Production Issues — Bravo is Panicking!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently filming its 8th season, and according to an exclusive insider, the southern drama is hitting some obstacles.
The biggest issue affecting season 8 is happening behind the scenes with the production company producing the show. According to our source, production was stopped twice because the production company didn’t have control over the cast. Things were so bad that Bravo had to step in to help restore order. Production is panicking over a lack of freshness in developing story lines, and filling the sizable shoes of the departed NeNe Leakes, the source added. The insider spills,
“Bravo is really going crazy! They think they are going to lose a lot of viewers this season. Production has halted twice, and they have fired a key behind the scenes player.”
The one spark is proving to be Kandi Burruss, who will surely liven things up, as she weathers her pregnancy. As previously reported, Marlo Hampton and Sheree Whitfield have been brought back into the mix, to spice up and add life, to the franchise.
Marlo Hampton and Sheree Whitfield are expected to show up in “pop in” appearances. According to our source, Nene’s diva persona clashing with production was the real reason for her Bravo departure. Some bad blood existed between Leakes and two producers, and proved to be the deal breaker for Leakes, a source tells All About the Tea exclusively.
“NeNe will not allow two producers of the show into her home. That demand makes filming with NeNe impossible. Adding, NeNe got a producer fired in season five, his name was Matt.”
Stay close, as the RHOA tea leaks, and a new season struggles to find an identity.
