Just when you thought you had enough of the tedious cancer storyline on The Real Housewives of Orange County—does Brooks have cancer or is he a big fat lying liar who lies—it’s rearing its ugly head again.

Heather spilled a very weak bit of tea on Watch What Happens Live by saying she was “drawn” into the Brooks/cancer debate, but refused to say any more. Now, Shannon is dribbling out information to Wetpaint, in an effort to tempt us into watching the next episode. (Who are we kidding? I’m totally watching. Someone has to make fun of Meghan’s headbands. It might as well be me!)

And speaking of Meghan “Girl Detective” Edmonds and all the tidbits she’s brought to the table, Shannon said:

“… she’s got some CIA/FBI in her blood. That’s for sure. She’s ballsy and she has no fear. Do I think that she’s crossed the line a few times? Yeah, I do. I wouldn’t do it. But, she did and shes [sic] come up with some stuff.”

Indeed she has. Like the fact that Newport Imaging no longer performs PET scans on Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma patients, the cancer Brooks purportedly has.

Though all the ladies have shown skepticism with Brooks’ diagnosis, Shannon originally believed the story. And why wouldn’t she? Who would lie about something like this? (See the lying liar comment above.)

“You know I was in agreement with Vicki at the very beginning, saying ‘Absolutely not! Why would you have to prove an illness with medical records?’”

But as time went on (and my patience has worn thin), Vicki is coming under Shannon’s scrutiny as well.

“At this point, my advice to her is you need to bring something out. Just one little report. You don’t have to bring the notebook with all the tabs we’ve heard about just pull one sheet out of it.”

So is she convinced by the PET scan Brooks produced and shared with Tamra? Not so much.

“…more and more things come out… I think that in real life the only people that know the true answers are God, Brooks, and Vicki [Gunvalson].”

So how about you kittens? Does Brooks’ cancer storyline send you to snoresville or are you still waiting for irrefutable proof—one way or another?
