Meghan Edmonds Reveals She Went Too Far With Brooks’ Cancer: “I am Embarrassed I Dug So Deeply”

Oh. My. God. Where to start with Meghan Edmonds, her high horse, and The Real Housewives of Orange County?

I guess we should start with Meghan’s out of control behavior. She used some very shady methods to try to catch Brooks in a lie. Girl went full throttle on the Loca Locomotive.

First up, Meghan calls it “The Cancer” and uses that term repeatedly throughout her blog. Why? Who knows what thoughts are rattling around in that head of hers?

“…I want to address The Cancer. I want to start by saying that I truly believed Brooks had cancer and I was truly concerned for his health and treatment options.”

Nope. Sorry, Meghan, we don’t believe you. You might fool yourself with that thin veneer of concern, but we’re not so easily duped.

“Once inconsistencies with Brooks and Vicki‘s story started adding up and when Vicki got immensely defensive and attacked me for unrelated topics, I began to find The Cancer suspicious.”

So naturally, she had to do something. Being a champion of justice is hard, y’all. Gossiping about a psychic’s innuendo over a bottle of champs in the middle of the afternoon isn’t proactive enough.

“I searched online for information because I wanted to know the truth about The Cancer. I contacted his ex-girlfriend to find out more information. Did I go too far? Yes.”

Trolling blog posts, searching for anyone connected to Brooks, then cold-calling his old flame was going too far? Ya think? Oh, but our little amateur sleuth isn’t done. She has reasons to doubt Brooks, and she’s offended that he would spread malicious half-truths about “The Cancer.” Highly offended!

“It is offensive to me that someone (Brooks) is potentially exploiting this platform for the sake of themselves and not the cause. Not only that, but he’s exploiting friendships (Shannon), public opinion, and spreading the word about a potentially dangerous “treatment” which I find highly unethical.”

Where does Meghan get off feeling any kind of way about Brooks and his condition? Why go to all this trouble to discredit him? My guess? Payback. She’s angry that Vicki called her out and insulted her marriage—as did most of the Twitterverse—and Meghan’s out to get even. But she’ll never admit it. Instead, she clings to her self-righteous stance.

“And with any cause that is worthy of a fight I will seek answers until there is a cure, justice, or truth is exposed. From now on, the audience can decide what their truth might be.”

Oh, brother. (I’m rolling my eyes here. You probably are, too.) Meghan, give it up. People might give you a pass if you could own up to playing gotcha with Vicki and Brooks. But that will never happen. Whether Brooks is lying or not, Little Miss Truth Bomb will never admit to the fact that she was in the wrong.
