EXCLUSIVE: Vicki Gunvalson Dishes on Brooks’ Decision to Stop Chemo and Seek Alternative Treatment
Recently, there was a very interesting post by Jaclyn Dixon, a reflexologist whose husband suffered from Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma—the same cancer Brooks Ayers has been diagnosed with. As we know, there’s been much debate on The Real Housewives of Orange County about Brooks’ cancer and his decision to stop chemotherapy.
Much has been made of the psychic’s “not seeing” Brooks’ cancer, mostly by Meghan Edmonds. But considering Meghan hasn’t mastered Minute Rice, I hardly think we can trust her oncology expertise. Jaclyn Dixon, however, had some very informative things to say on the subject.
“There are numerous, accounts of people who have taken resveratrol intravenously and claim to have eradicated their cancer.”
She cites, Mercola.com “Resveratrol, a potent antioxidant found in a number of plants, including red grape skins, pomegranate, raw cacao, peanuts, and berries like raspberries and mulberries, is known to have a number of beneficial health effects.”
Since Jaclyn has seen her husband heal from the disease, her opinion is particularly relevant.
“There is SO much more to beating cancer, and living well after it than just following doctor’s orders. Diet, lifestyle, supplementation, spirituality and emotional wellness should all be a part of the “prescription”… If Brooks has in fact sustained the grueling NHL chemotherapy treatments and they aren’t serving their purpose (to destroy cancer cells) it is – in my opinion- worth trying something new and not harmful his immune system.”
This post was a fascinating read by a fellow Housewife lover who has witnessed NHL firsthand.
But even more importantly, Vicki Gunvalson has something to say about all this back and forth questioning of Brooks’ decision to seek alternative treatment, telling All About The Tea EXCLUSIVELY,
“One’s healthcare choices are a private matter and something that needs to remain private. It’s irresponsible for anyone to say chemotherapy is the only route, because there are other treatment options that have been documented, doctor supported, and incredibly successful.”
Vicki continues,
“Whatever Brooks chooses to do for his treatment plan I support his decision.”
We wish Brooks the best and hope is doing well.
