Lauren Manzo is movin’ on up, and spreading her painted wings, hoping to make a bigger splash on the Jersey beauty scene. The star of Manzo’d With Children, Caroline Manzo, announced via her Instagram page, that Lauren’s beauty bar business “Cafface” is expanding, with a new shop set to open, in Wayne, New Jersey. Caroline posts, “She’s on her way @caffacebeautybar #2 – there’s nothing better than seeing your kids live their dreams.”
There are a few puzzling facets to this joyous family success news. The Manzos’ Bravo reality show has portrayed Lauren as a daddy’s girl, who survives off a paid by daddy credit card. Lauren married Vito Scalia about a month ago, but the cash flow appears to be gaining speed, rather than adjusting to a young couple’s budget. How does someone expand a business, when the proprietor cannot even pay for her own gas?
Another question mark asks, how can any customer based business grow without integrating a website into their marketing strategy? The first franchise of Manzo’s growing empire has been open for over two years, and has yet to put a website into place. The Instagram photo of the new locale requires customers to call a phone number for more info. It appears that foundational money generating basics aren’t a concern for the budding beauty mogul.
So which is it? Savvy business woman, or just a well-off daddy’s girl, whose boasted success is just some Jersey smoke and mirrors? Al and Caroline may want to hit up a web developer, if they want to maintain that their little Lauren is really shooting for the stars. Daddy’s little girl “living her dreams” may not be all it’s cracked up to be!
