Abandoned by His Wife; Apollo Nida Has Turned to Begging Women For Money From Prison

Here’s a name we haven’t heard from in a while, Apollo Nida. Y’all remember him, right? The twice convicted felon husband to Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks. So, what’s he up to these days? About 8 years. Ba-dum-tish. Seriously folks, Nida is asking “fans” to send money to him behind bars.

According to an Instagram post by The Shade Room, a woman is claiming that she mailed Nida a book (she authored) to the Kentucky facility he resides at. Now why she did that, we have no idea. Maybe the book was about changing your life after prison. In any event, Nida wrote the woman back and told her that “he appreciated the book” and asked if she could “send him some money through Western Union.”

The woman declined to send him money and wrote him back, explaining her decision.

“I just wrote him back, thanked him for reading the book and respectfully told him that I have a daughter and before I send money to a guy I don’t know I’d rather put that 25 (dollars) in her savings account.”

Nida wrote his new pen-pal back saying that,

“he didn’t know 25.00 (dollars) was a lot and he will pray that I gain wealth so that I can afford to put more than $25 dollars in my daughters savings.”

The woman then wrote back to Nida reminding him that she “may not have a lot of money, but a least I can walk across the street.” Ba-dum-tish!

In other Nida news, you might be wondering if Phaedra Parks has taken her boys to visit their father. Sources close to Phaedra say she has not and is standing firm in her decision not to take Ayden and Dylan to Kentucky to see their father – no matter how much he begs.
