Well, our favorite “friend” of the Housewives is riding the fence this week. Lizzie Rovsek of The Real Housewives of Orange County weighs in on the Meghan/Vicki bitchfest and she understands both sides.

Actually, I’m kind of with Lizzie on this one. Is Meghan a buttinski troublemaker, looking for attention? Yep. Is Vicki overreacting and starting shit every chance she gets? Yep. There is no clear winner in this war of the witless. Lizzie agrees, though she puts it in much more diplomatic terms.

“Vicki and Meghan were both very upset after their argument at Heather’s lunch. I am not here to tell anyone what is right or wrong or who is right or wrong.”

As for Meghan’s role in the rumble:

“I don’t think Meghan was concerned for Brooks’ health, she wants to prove Vicki wrong. She even called Vicki a con artist to her husband Jim and said it was her job to bring this to justice.”

But Vicki doesn’t walk away free and clear either.

“I have to give Meghan credit, she did not start the drama at Tamra’s party. At this point I do think that Vicki is overreacting and making the situation bigger than it needs to be. I wish they would both just let it go.”

Amen, sister. I’m over it. Does Brooks really have cancer? Well, Vicki claims she’s gone to some of his chemo treatments, and that has me almost convinced. Could he be a big faker? It’s totally possible, because I think Brooks is a fraud and a phony. We could get into all the reasons why—leaving his young kids behind in Mississippi, cheating on his wife with Vicki, the DUI, the lawsuits, telling Ryan to smack Brianna—but really, this “does he or doesn’t he” storyline is played out. Yawn.

Lizzie claims that Jim Edmonds was the sole winner in this week’s sex party cat fight.

“When Jim got involved in the conversation I have to be honest, he made more sense than anyone. Jim was the voice of reason. He was very clear and diplomatic and I think he gave great advice.”

When Jim is the voice of reason, we’re all in trouble.

Ultimately, Lizzie is all peace and light, man. Like, let people be people and do their thing as people. You know?

“I think we should trust our friends and be supportive of them especially in very difficult times. I think there is a time to talk and a time to step aside and let people handle their own business.”

Personally, I vote Lizzie as the voice of reason. And I say give Vicki and Meghan a pair of boxing gloves and lock them in a cage. Let them duke it out for reals, not the OC way, by calling names and screeching until my ears bleed. What about you—are you ready for this Brooks/cancer storyline to end?
