Tamra Judge Throws Vicki Gunvalson Under The Bus: “Vicki Was on the Defensive”

Hello, kittens. In my time as a Housewife-ologist, I’ve learned there are a few universal truths that apply to every Real Housewife franchise. All Housewives must have their liquor of choice on hand at every event (with Heather it’s champs, Ramona can’t go five minutes without her pinot grigio, and Shannon needs her Gray Goose neat, with a lime wedge and a glass of water—stat!). When vacationing, Bravo prefers island destinations. It’s harder for a drunk, bullied Housewife to make a quick getaway when she has to swim for the mainland. Also, when life hands our ladies lemons, they either stick nine in a bowl or get plastic surgery, because that tummy tuck will make everything better. And most importantly, there must be at least one shit stirrer in every group. In The Real Housewives of Orange County, our little poop swizzle stick is Tamra Judge.

Last year, Tamra got heavy-handed with her attempts to start rumors and instigate fights. As a consequence, what few fans she had left turned against her. Do we remember when Tamra started all that drama between Heather and Shannon, playing one against the other until Shannon snapped like a wet toothpick and had an epic meltdown at Lizzie’s party? Apparently, that’s all water under the bridge, because Shannon is spending time with Tamra off camera. Tamra states in her blog: 

“I feel so bad for Shannon it makes me want to cry just thinking about everything she has gone through…I was with Shannon and David this weekend and they are so cute together and it makes me angry to read some of the social media comments about her and how she deserves to be cheated on. How can people be SO hateful to someone that is hurting?”

Um, you were that hateful last season, Tamra. And the season before that. But I guess that’s her job as resident shit stirrer, and she does it well.

This season she promised us a new and improved Tamra, one who minded her own bee’s wax and kept her mouth shut. Mmm hmm. In truth, Tamra’s just gotten sneakier. Now she’s letting Meghan do her dirty work, and our ditzy new Housewife doesn’t even realized she’s being manipulated.

“The fight between Vicki and Meghan is a tough one. I don’t feel Meghan was trying to be mean or was accusing Brooks of lying about cancer, rather she was questioning Vicki about his treatment plan.”

Of course she was accusing Brooks of being a liar, liar, pants on fire. And who put that thought into Meghan’s empty head? Tamra, natch!

“I also understand that Meghan does not know Brooks that well and Vicki thought she was meddling in their business.”

And Tamra’s psychic had nothing to do with it? Of course Tamra can’t fess up now. Not when Vicki offered up her backyard oasis for Ryan’s wedding.

“Vicki offering to let Ryan and Sarah get married in her backyard was so thoughtful. Vicki’s backyard is beautiful and a wedding will be one more amazing memory I would have in her backyard. Thank you, Vicki.”

Moving on to that $8000 check Tamra gave Ryan for his new house. What the hell? Wasn’t Tamra’s coddling of Ryan a big part of her breakup with Simon? Why would she keep this a secret from Eddie? Has she learned nothing from three marriages and five boob jobs? (Fine, the boob jobs have nothing to do with it, but I thought I’d throw that in for good measure.)

“I did find Ryan and Sarah a house in Orange County. Yes, I do tell Eddie but you will have to stay tuned to see how he reacts. YIKES!”

So what do you think the fallout will be with Eddie? And what about Tamra’s new attitude toward Shannon—do we trust it? (For the record, I don’t.)
