NEW YORK, August 27, 2015 — VH1’s industry-leading “Love & Hip Hop” franchise continues to help define pop culture today.

“Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” cable’s #1 reality show this summer, generated equally impressive numbers last week for the first part of the two-part reunion special, ranking as #1 telecast of the night among adults and women. The second part of the reunion airs Monday, August 31 at 8 PM ET/PT.

And now the TV juggernaut is launching two additional series – a new season of “K.Michelle: My Life,” starring the breakout member of the franchise’s New York show and brand new series “Stevie & Joseline Take L.A.”(working title) featuring the provocative couple from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

“In a summer where the film ‘Straight Outta Compton’ went straight to #1, Taylor Swift’s collaboration with Kendrick Lamar topped the Billboard charts and our own “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” ranked as the #1 reality show on cable, hip hop’s dominance of pop culture was confirmed yet again,” said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming and Production, VH1. “We’re excited to fuel our audience’s continued fascination with all things hip hop by extending the storylines of some of their favorite “Love & Hip Hop” cast members.”

“K.Michelle: My Life” Premiering Winter 2016
VH1 has picked up a second season of “K.Michelle: My Life” with best-selling recording artist and “Love & Hip Hop” alum K.Michelle. After moving to Los Angeles, K.Michelle is determined to succeed by finding new inspiration and revolutionizing her sound, as she continues to propel herself into superstardom. With renewed energy, she refuses to be restrained by genre of music or her past relationships.

VH1’s “K.Michelle: My Life” was the #3 new cable reality series among Women 18-49 this past year (VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” and VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE” take the number one and two spots, respectively.) New episodes of “K.Michelle: My Life” return this winter.
