#RHOC’s Tamra Judge’s Teenage Daughter is Suffering From Parental Alienation; Tamra Desperate To Get Her Therapy
Tamra Judge is fighting mad, and The Real Housewives of Orange County star is lashing out at her ex-husband, Simon Barney after the courts determined that “it is not in the best interest” for their daughter, Sydney, to participate in therapy, with her mother. Tamra spoke to Radar Online, spilling her side of the story.
“I’ve tried everything to get my daughter help…Simon fought so hard to get Sydney out of therapy and he went as far as to drag his daughter into a courtroom to testify how she doesn’t want any more therapy.”
Sidney’s court therapist testified that Sidney is suffering from parental alienation and referred to Simon as the ‘gatekeeper,’ Tamra disclosed.
Sydney has been living with her father full-time since October of 2013, and has remained reluctant to have a relationship with her reality star mother. The court initially ordered the teen and her mom to attend therapy together, but Sydney’s adamant refusal swayed the judge to rescind the order.
“Because Sidney is almost 17 she was able to choose who she wants to live with and told the judge she will refuse to go to therapy even if he orders it,” reveals Tamra. “The judge granted her wish. I’m devastated and worried about Sidney’s future under her father’s control.”
The judge disagreed, and found no evidence of Simon participating in any “alienating conduct in this case.”
Sydney won’t be under anyone’s “control” for much longer. She will be 18 in the blink of an eye, so maybe Tamra should just shut up, and hope that the flyway teen gives her drama addicted mother another chance, on her own.
