Troubled reality TV star, Kim Richards, has reemerged after ditching her most current rehab facility on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Richards reemerged on Instagram to send well wishes to her youngest daughter, Kimberly, on her birthday.

Richards posted a baby photo and a beautiful tribute to her daughter Kimberly, who’s a student at University of California San Diego. Kimberly celebrated her 20th birthday.

The last time Richards posted on Instagram was five months ago and considering all the drama surrounding her sobriety and mental health, Kim’s post came as a surprise to many.

As reported earlier this week, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, fled the Southern California treatment center on Monday afternoon. She was being treated for a psychiatric condition, alcohol, as well as drug addiction.

Richards was enrolled at a treatment facility after being placed on 5150 (involuntary) psychiatric hold. On Monday afternoon, Kim decided she was cured of her addiction to booze and pills and ditched her new digs.

Kim’s troubles began shortly after the RHOBH season 7 reunion aired, she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge for a drunken rampage. Next stop, Dr. Phil. Three days later, the former reality star enters a Malibu substance abuse program, but doesn’t stay. She then went to her daughter’s second wedding in Los Cabos, causes a scene, fires sober coach, runs off with no contact to family or friends. Then on August 2, the recovering addict was arrested for shoplifting from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

Richards was due in court on August 20 for the Target arrest but was given a reprieve when the judge in the case agreed to move the court date to September 11. The new date gives Kim’s lawyer, Sara Caplan time to review the police report and surveillance video with her client. Caplan, told the judge that Kim is back in “program” and plans to stay there.

The judge approved her appointment without Richards being present.

Stay tuned.
