Kim Richards Escapes From Rehab Leaving Family Blindsided
She’s on the run AGAIN! Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kim Richards, has reportedly fled her current residence on Monday afternoon.
As reported, Kim was enrolled at a Southern California treatment center after being placed on 5150 (involuntary) psychiatric hold.
Kim decided she was cured of her addiction to booze and pills and ditched her new digs.
The embattled reality star’s progress seemed hopeful but then she pulls this stunt,
“Kim decided to leave,” an insider told Radar. “She just bolted. The staff has no clue where she went, and it was definitely against medical advice. Her family had just visited over the weekend! Kim said she was cured, and felt good enough to go back to Los Angeles,” the source said. “This is the worst thing Kim could do at this point because she has a court appearance this week for being drunk in public at the Beverly Hills Hotel.”
Kim’s troubles began shortly after the RHOBH season 7 reunion aired, she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge for a drunken rampage. Next stop, Dr. Phil. Three days later, the former reality star enters a Malibu substance abuse program, but doesn’t stay. She then went to her daughter’s second wedding in Los Cabos, causes a scene, fires sober coach, runs off with no contact to family or friends. A week later, Richards surfaces and returns to rehab, and eventually completing 30 days.

Then on August 2, the recovering addict was arrested for shoplifting from a Target store, Van Nuys police said. Kim was stopped by security and placed under citizen’s arrest until the police arrived. Richards was booked at the Valley Jail in Van Nuys, California. She was later released on $5,000 bail on Monday afternoon. According to the police report, a Van Nuys Target security guard caught the former ‘Real Housewife’ stealing numerous items exceeding the value of $600.
At this rate, Kim is going to end up dead if she doesn’t get her life under control soon.
