EXCLUSIVE: Who’s Gonna Get NeNe Leakes’ Peach? Five Women Battle For One #RHOA Spot in Season 8
The battle for a cast spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta is in full swing, with Kenya Moore’s Haircare Launch Party setting the scene for the scramble for the peach that Nene Leakes left up for grabs.
Bravo cameras rolled Monday night, testing the dramatic waters with five women, all rumored to be hoping for the Bravo prized peach.
The five women are in a likely unpredictable casting scenario, with Season 7 shifting from a confirmed casting of Demetria McKinney to Claudia Jordan in an southern blink of an eye. One of these women is hoping to score a confirmed Season 8 cast spot alongside Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, and Kandi Burruss.
The competing players have been identified as Kim Fields, Shamea Morton (Porsha’s BFF), Amiyah Scott (Transgender model), Marlo Hampton, and alum Sheree Whitfield. Shamea Morton is a close friend of Porsha Williams, and Amiyah Scott is a transgender model.
An insider reports that while filming is in the beginning stages, the chemistry is looking explosive! Claudia Jordan was at the event, but was reportedly restricted from filming, and interacting with the filming cast. Cynthia’s sister Malorie was also in attendance, presumably in her normal sisterly sidekick role.
Kenya Moore also debuted a new boyfriend during her big night, a caucasian man, who is evidently enthused about the matchup, according to an on-the-scene insider.”Kenya was introducing him to people, and he looked like he liked her,” adding, “The guy seems really into her.”

Our casting sources tell us, Sheree Whitfield and Kim Fields in the prized spots of Bravo peaches, expanding the cast from six to seven.
