Kim Richards Refusing To Get Further Treatment — Family Wants 5150 Hold Enforced
Rehab alert! Kim Richards, embattled star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is reportedly “refusing to get further treatment.” Family is concerned as her slip with reality is “growing worse.”
Let’s recap. After an erratic season 7 for Richards, she was arrested at the Beverly Hills Polo Lounge after the final episode of the RHOBH Reunion show had aired. Next stop, Dr. Phil. Three days later, the former reality star enters a Malibu substance abuse program, but doesn’t stay. She then went to her daughter’s second wedding in Los Cabos, causes a scene, fires sober coach, runs off with no contact to family or friends. A week later, Richards surfaces and returns to rehab, and eventually completing 30 days.

Her latest crisis was an attempt to (allegedly) shoplift from Target in Van Nuys, CA earlier this month.
“Kim was advised that she needed to continue treatment, but ultimately decided not to stay, and left” the hospital she had spent 48 hours in. The source continued, “Kim’s four children are absolutely heartsick about her tragic situation. She is spiraling out of control. She has said she doesn’t remember the events leading up to her shoplifting arrest!” An insider is tells Radar.
What’s next? Her family would like her to go back to rehab. Let’s face it. Some people need more than 30 days, but Kim “is absolutely refusing. The family just doesn’t know what to do, and are afraid something horrible is going to happen to her.” According to the source,
“The family believes that Kim has three options. One: She goes back to rehab. Two: She’s put on a 5150 hold. Three: She could end up hospitalized from alcohol poisoning or pill overdose.” The source concluded, “Kim is a ticking time bomb, and her kids just hope she is in a safe place when she hits rock bottom, and will be able to recover from it.”
