Lauren Manzo Talks Married Life & Babies
Is newlywed, Lauren Manzo, ready to start have babies? Not so fast. Lauren may have recently tied the knot with her longtime love, Vito Scalia, but apparently she plans to take some time before making her mom and dad, Carolyn and Albert Manzo, grandparents.
“We’re looking for a house right now and I want to give [my parents] grandkids so bad, but at the same time I’m like, ‘Let’s just wait, get a house,’” she says during the family’s appearance on the Today Show. “We’re going to wait. Our first vacation together was our honeymoon.”

The wedding, to be a central storyline on season 2 of Manzo’d with Children beginning August 16 on Bravo, was “the biggest moment” for the entire family.
“It was a fun year for all of us because as far as the show goes, this is the biggest moment our family has had since we’ve been a family,” according to brother Albie. “And when you throw the cameras into it it’s always something that brings on some additional anxiety and stuff, but it was fun.”
Right now, Lauren and Vito are living at the families’ New Jersey home, which can be kind of a buzz-kill in the romance department, but we all know that Caroline and her family are “thick as thieves.” Caroline explained, “It’s great, that’s what you raise them for, that’s why you have them. You have them to let them go and to just be productive people out in the world. If they were messes, I’d be like ‘Ugh,’ but they’re not, they’re awesome kids, they’re my babies, I always say babies, so deal with it. But I think we did a hell of a job.”
