#RHOBH News: Erika Jayne Joins Cast and Lisa Vanderpump Comments on Kim Richards
Ever heard of a singer named, Erika Jayne? No? Well, you will. Cast insiders are saying that Erika Jayne is the newest housewife to sign on for Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and has already begun filming with some of the other ladies.
Best known for her dance and club tracks, Jayne, 46, and her attorney husband, 76, Thomas V. Girardi, are reportedly friends with David and Yolanda Foster. As you can tell there’s an age gap between the two, something that might be a storyline for the pop singer, but her husband, Girardi, was famous long before his wife. He was the inspiration in the 2000 film “Erin Brokovich” as the attorney who successfully tried the Pacific Gas and Electric case.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Erika Jayne is best known for her catchy dance and club tracks, eight of which have hit No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Club/Dance chart. Her latest hit, Crazy, features Maino. No confirmation has come from Bravo.
The cast of RHOBH has been spotted filming various scenes. Below are a few photos.
In other RHOBH news, Lisa Vanderpump opened up to ET about the recent comments by Kim Richards calling Lisa “phony” and that she changes “in a heartbeat” last month when Kim was proclaiming how much she loved sobriety. Lisa V responded,
“That kind of really stung and hurt because I feel that I have never involved myself too much in questioning her sobriety.” She added, “Even last season, I said very much I don’t want to get involved because I didn’t feel like I was that close to her. There were other people who were much closer to her.”
It’s one of those situations where you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Just ask Lisa Rinna. Lisa V continued,
“That really hurt because I thought, ‘Hold on a second, I’ve always supported you and always wanted the best for you.’ Even if I had my suspicions, I never really kind of revealed anything.”
Despite Kim’s harsh words, Lisa still wishes her the best after learning of Kim’s shoplifting arrest. “I see what’s been going on since then. She told us she’s struggling.” As for whether she thinks Kim should return to the Bravo show, Lisa said it’s not up to her.
“Whenever somebody is on the show, they’re on the show for a reason, and sometime the dynamic changes, not everybody is happy with certain choices,” Lisa explained. “But there’s been a lot being said about me having the power to eliminate cast members. We don’t get that power.”
She is no doubt referring to Brandi Glanville’s claim that Lisa had her fired from the show. Lisa said that even she has had shows where everything doesn’t come up rosy.
“I’ve done 170 episodes of reality television with Vanderpump Rules and Housewives. I’ve had a couple of really horrible, shitty experiences that I’ve never experienced in my life.” Always one to look on the brighter side, Lisa said, “The other 160 something have been amazing.”
