A New Tamra Judge or Real Estate Shark! Is Tamra Kissing Up to Meghan Edmonds For Future Commissions?

Tamra Judge has carved out her niche on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County, as the brash, backstabbing beauty of the OC.  Off camera,  a nasty, public custody struggle was her reality, with oldest daughter Sidney eventually landing with her father, Simon Barney. Barney has a 20 years his junior girlfriend, Catushia Ienni, who has slid into a stepmom-like role in the lives of Simon and Tamra’s children. See pics below of Catushia with Simon and Tamra’s children. 

It was widely reported last September that Judge and Ienni engaged in a screaming match during the emotional custody battle, so it is not a stretch to assume that Tamra is not a fan of another woman mothering her children. This custody war was revived this week, with Judge hauling her ex back into court, to call him out for allegedly not sticking to his end of the agreed upon terms of the custody settlement.

When Meghan Edmonds busted on the scene, spouting her oddly intense motherly love for her four stepchildren, Tamra, along with the other mothers, was taken aback.  A stepmother figure crossing invisible, but common-sense boundaries hit surely a sore spot with Judge. When asked how she would react to her children being exposed to an overreaching parental figure, Tamra commented, “I’d poke her eyeballs out….I’d feed her to sharks.”

Heather Dubrow tried to explain Tamra’s emotionally intense point of view to Meghan, during last week’s episode, saying, “she is never going to understand where you are coming from…she is never going to see your point.” 

All understandable…so when Tamra took to her Bravo blog to share her thoughts all of these months later, she left viewers scratching their heads. Tamra’s thoughts were warm and fuzzy towards Meghan, and her strangely possessive, step mother love.

“Let me start off saying that I think Meghan is an amazing stepmom and you can tell she loves Jim’s kids with all her heart. Her step kids are lucky to have her. The conversation that we were having was more about “boundaries” as a step-parent and not about loving them.”

“I personally was not discrediting Meghan’s love for her step kids in the conversation that you saw. Meghan and Jim had only been married a few months when we were in Tahiti. When she was telling us that she wished Jim’s kids were hers and that it makes her sad that she has not been in their life since birth, I feel that was disrespectful to the their mother that is probably watching the show. I feel if Meghan is having such a problem with Jim’s kids not being hers then they should have their own, she is young it’s not like she is in her 40s and it’s too late.”

Awww…how nice. Tamra, nice? One theory to explain such uncharacteristic patience might be Judge’s recent re-entry into the world of real-estate. An agent/client relationship with Jimmy and Meghan Edmonds, whether married or split, could mean fat commission checks for the Cut Fitness deserter.
