House of Horrors! Leah Messer Spanks Kids, Takes Them To School Late & Does Not Make Them Breakfast

Being a mom is the hardest job in the world, no question. And being a teen mom on a reality show with three kids, two different dads and plenty of drama to contend with makes that job even harder. On tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer, 23, is clearly overwhelmed with her mom duties and takes it out on poor Aleeah Grace. After returning home from a weekend at dad, Corey Simms’ house, the tantrum begin.

“I just feel stressed out now,” Leah tells her friend. “I forgot today’s the first day they’ve been back. Maybe it’s the transition from his house to my house. Ali does good, it’s more Gracie.”

When Gracie tries to get her mother’s attention, and that doesn’t work, a screaming fit over not picking something up begins.

“Gracie! Get that right now,” Leah shouts. “I’m not playing. You’re going to pick that up! You’re not going to act like this in front of people.” As she takes Gracie to another room, Leah adds, “Do you understand? I’ve had enough. I don’t know why you’re acting like this.”

Leah spanks Gracie and puts her in time out. Her friend explains that they were whipped growing up and look how great they turned out. EXACTLY! Leah, send your friend home and hold your child instead of spanking her.

In the newest MTV clip of the show that should be called, “Hey, Kids! Here’s What Not To Do” Corey discusses with Leah his concern for the twins safety and his desire for more custody time with his 5-year old twin girls.

Corey says, “If I have them for that extra little bit, that’s an extra little bit I don’t have to worry about,” he tells ex-wife, Leah. “I don’t want you to take that this wrong way, but that’s time I don’t have to worry, are they tardy, are they late, are they there, are they not.”

According to Corey, the twins are tardy to school at least 10 times per month. Leah says she wants to get the trust back from Corey, but can’t parent effectively when she feels plotted against.

Leah says. “At the end of the day, it’s my kids, my life. I have to do what I have to do.”

Corey tells Leah, “I was sick a couple weekends ago, and I was eating toast, and Aleeah says, ‘Oh, I know how to make that.’ I said, ‘How the hell do you know how to make toast? How do you know how to use a toaster?’” he recalls. “She said, ‘Because my mommy’s a sleepyhead and I have to make myself breakfast.’” Leah responds, “It’s not really that big of a deal.”

Last March, three months after filming, Leah checked into rehab for “anxiety and depression” treatment, but other sources have said it was due to an addiction to prescription pills.
