Kim Richards Speaks on #RHOBH Drama: She Labels Lisa Vanderpump a “Phony”
After completing a 30-day treatment program (that actually took about 50 days) Kim Richards star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is talking more about her struggles with sobriety, and we are learning that the stress just wasn’t at home, some of the stress was due to the show.
“Housewives has been wonderful for me,” Richards told Turner. “I did enjoy doing it at times. We did fun things. And other days, it was just completely stressful.”
Hmmm. Just wondering, but after one completes a substance abuse program that largely blamed life stressors as the cause for the relapse, should they sign up for PR junket about how much they “love sobriety?”
Kim also spoke about the relationship with her sister and co-star, Kyle Richards, confessing that she thinks the “reality show damaged their relationship.” In the months following the reunion show, Kyle and Kim didn’t speak. The first time the sisters came face to face was at Kim’s daughter Brook’s wedding in Mexico. And we know the “stress” caused from the wedding contributed to another relapse for Kim.
“She came to Brooke’s wedding,” Kim said. “And that was actually the first time I had seen her in six to seven months. So that was a little hard.” Kim says she and Kyle “are now talking.”
Kim also spoke about Lisa Vanderpump, saying “in a heartbeat she changes.”
“She’s witty, she’s fun, she has a big heart for people she loves, but I think Lisa is … she’s phony,” Kim explained. “Sometimes I felt like she was my friend, and you know, I believed her, but in a heartbeat she changes.”
As for her future, Kim said that producers have expressed an interest in having her return to the show, but no official talks have begun. Kim added, “I haven’t spoken to them, because I’ve been focusing on my treatment. My representative did speak to them and they did ask me to come back.”
Tell us what you think. We’ve all heard she’s been fired. Do you think Kim has been asked to return to RHOBH, and if so, should she return?
