Kathy Wakile and Ashlee Holmes Attacked on Twitter By Trehuggers Over Harmless Prank — Watch Video!
There is nothing like a wedding in New Jersey! The dress, the vows, the cake, the romance, the…Twitter uproar? That’s right! Ashlee Holmes jokingly posted a video of a wedding guest imitating the former “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, the incarcerated Teresa Giudice, and Teresa’s fanbase, aka the Trehuggers, lost it.
The guest’s imitation stemmed from a scene from one of the more memorable episodes of Season 4. During the episode, the cast took a trip to Napa Valley, where most will remember Joe getting nailed labeling his partner in crime wife the ‘C’ word, on camera. Whoops! Caroline Manzo confronts and tears into Teresa during the episode, accusing her of feeding lies about the other women, to the tabloids. Kathy Wakile is in the mix, and a tipsy Teresa becomes impatient, and unexpectedly and aggressively grabs her cousin’s face, during a repetitive, defensive rant.
Back at the wedding, Kathy decided to play along with the Teresa impersonation, and the melodramatic antics triggered a gaggle of social media zealots to go berserk. A group of die hards reacted passionately to the harmless nonsense, calling foul on anyone who would DARE cross such an unheard of, and sacred boundary. Ashlee later removed the video.
For bonus drama, the infamous Teresa Giudice “Official” Fanpage….the coziest social media home for those who love…love…love to revere an imprisoned, convicted thief flooded Twitter.
Isn’t imitation considered the sincerest form of flattery? After all, her years on Bravo were her glory days! No one was imitating her shuffling in a chow line or sprawled out on a dirty bunk. Isn’t keeping Teresa relevant the whole point? Teresa’s fans should cheer up! Their heroine made an appearance at the Manzo wedding.
