Claudia Jordan Leaves The Rickey Smiley Morning Show
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and radio personality, Claudia Jordan has announced today via her Facebook, she is leaving the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show,” after one year. The announcement comes as a big surprise since Claudia moved from California to Atlanta for this job.
The announcement states that the reality star is moving on to “more opportunities.” Adding, “There are a whole lot of things I want to do that will better showcase my talents, personality, intelligence.”
Claudia brought a much needed balance to the morning show with her distinctive brand of humor and unmatched wit. Jordan replaced former “Rickey Smiley Show” co-host, Ebony Steele, who was apart of the show for seven years.
The timing of the move is peculiar considering the “Rickey Smiley Show” is syndicated in 50 markets nationwide and is the number one urban-based show in the city of Atlanta but we’re confident Claudia is moving on to better opportunities.
The former model kept it classy and thanked Reach Media and to Mr. Smiley for the opportunity which she says opened many doors, including her current gig on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“I’m grateful to Reach Media and to Mr. Smiley for giving me the opportunity which in turn helped me have a reason to be in Atlanta to be on the Real Housewives of Atlanta which was another amazing opportunity that has brought me nothing but more exposure, more checks and more opportunities in film and many other things.”
