So here we are. The very first live eviction of Big Brother 17. Who’s ready? Jumping right in with “A week one like we’ve never seen before.”

Where we last left off the veto ceremony took place. Steve removed himself off the block, and as planned, Jace went up. He was pissed. Clay was trying to calm him down because Jace looked like one of those caged animals  dying to escape to eat it’s human owners. Jace said it’s “Going to be worse than Y2K.” Everyone knew he was about to blow and just waited for it to happen. Austin, on the other hand, is worried about his own behind being a target because he’s connected to Jace. He thinks things are fishy because they were in an alliance with Audrey/James. It was a fake alliance, but both of them had no clue until the veto ceremony happened and James threw Jace up there as a replacement. So, Jace runs up to the HOH room and asks James what happened. He felt totally betrayed because of their talk earlier in the week. James told him he was a major comp threat and it was nothing personal. Jace told James it felt totally personal and he was full of…well you get the drift. Audrey, being the manipulator she is, told Jace she had nothing to do with him going up. In reality, she put the entire thing in motion. Jace sees right thru her and calls her manipulating.

Jace isn’t ready to go down without a fight. He tells Austin he’s a warrior and he’s going to rally the votes to send Jackie packing instead of him. He starts off with Clay, who tells him he’ll try to help, but Clay says in his DR Jace is pretty much done. No chance of staying. Next Jace goes to Johnny Mac and asks him what Jackie brings to the game? Jace answers his own question with “boobs.” I’ll agree on that. She hasn’t been talking too much game. She just struts around in a bikini. Vanessa/Liz become his next stop. He asks them if they would vote to keep him if he could get enough votes. They both said yes. He gives a nice speech to Steve about how much he can help his game. Steve says (in his DR) he wants to help, but he won’t risk his own game to save Jace so he doesn’t know if he can. His last stop is HOH James. He asks James to keep him please. James gets up and walks away. Not looking too good for Jace. Then Jace notices Audrey cornering Meg in the backyard, and a light goes on in his head.

Later when everyone’s just hanging out in the backyard, Audrey tells Jace she’s just going to be honest. Everyone knew before the Veto ceremony Jace was going to be the replacement. He makes everyone uncomfortable. Jace just tells her straight up- He thinks she was the master of the backdoor Jace plan, and he’s going to make sure everyone knows how manipulative she is. Audrey gets defensive, and Jace says that’s a sign of guilt.

Are you ready to find out who the twins are? If you’ve watched the feeds, has anyone looked just a little different to you? Well, Liz has a twin. Her name is Julia. They’ve switched places 4 times already. They only have about 10-15 minutes to fill eachother in on what’s been going on in the house. Audrey suspects there might be a pair of twins playing in the house. Wherever could she get that idea? Production maybe? They love to plant those seeds. She asks about twins and it turns out Jeff is also a twin. Liz/Julia play it off and say she has an older sister. She never mentions a twin. Way to play it off girls! Remember they get through 5 evictions without being found out they can both enter the game as individual players.

Now comes the moment. Time to evict the very first houseguest. Everyone except Audrey votes to evict Jace. There could be a few reasons for this. It’s a good way to blame someone else and get the heat off of herself. Da’vonne’s vote is the best: ” I vote to evict Jace. Bye!” Jace really pissed her off this week, so it’s not unexpected. Anyways, Jace leaves 12-1 and literally flips his way out the door.  Jace told Julie he asked his friends not to vote to keep him. He didn’t want to take them down with him. When Julie asks Jace who he thinks was the sole vote to keep him, Jace guesses Audrey. Julie tells him it was Audrey and asks him why she would do it. Jace thinks she might believe it’s a way to save herself. Julie’s almost done with Jace. She let’s him in on  the twin twist by showing a video of Liz/Julia. He was completely surprised. He also received some not so kind goodbye messages from his fellow houseguests.

Who’s the next guest for the BB Takeover twist? Kathy Griffin. She was a guest last year during the zingbot competition. She was hilarious! If you want to see it I’m sure there is plenty of video floating around. Kathy is interviewed quickly by Julie. She shameless plugs her tour and lets us in on her twist. A phone will appear this week. She’ll be calling the houseguests. The seventh person who answers won’t keep 3 houseguests safe, but will keep 3 houseguests from voting in the next eviction, She calls it “the last laugh.” Anywho, Kathy introduces herself to the houseguests and tells them she’ll be back during the week to fill them in on her twist, but it’s time for the HOH competition.

The HOH competition went like this: Kathy Griffin’s new medical drama “Ginger Fever” has a billboard. She hates the billboard. There will be 2 rounds. The first houseguest in each round to assemble a new billboard will win HOH. The first round was won by Becky. The second round was won by Shelli.

Finally, Kathy hints the twist will be “the last laugh.” She tells them until she comes back to panic and come up with crazy theories! I don’t know about you, but I’m excited to find out what she will say during these phone calls. It will definitely be funny, but we won’t know until Sunday!
