EXCLUSIVE: Sheree Whitfield and Lisa Wu Decline Return To Bravo Over Paycheck Dispute
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is set to celebrate a milestone. The reality show is about to hit their 100th episode, and Bravo has a special segment in the works to reflect back on the dramatic fireworks.
To celebrate RHOA’s 100th episode, Bravo is serving up a documentary that explores what really goes on behind the scenes of the ‘Housewives’ franchise that started it all. Bravo’s formula for the memory lane involves current and past ‘Wives’ popping in to comment on memories from the past seven seasons.
A source close to production dished to All About the Tea, asserting that not all is going smoothly on that front. Two holdout ‘Wives’ are refusing to appear unless Bravo ups their paycheck.
“Sheree [Whitfield] and Lisa [Wu] demanded Bravo show them the money.” The source continued, “Bravo didn’t offer them enough money so they both declined to appear on the [100th] special.”
The source also tells us, first season cast member, Deshawn Snow “was going to do her segment for free,” but Sheree pushed her to charge for her appearance on the special episode.
In other Atlanta news, our source claims that no existing RHOA cast member has been offered a new contract. The delay is being attributed to the challenge of putting together new storylines, as well as a new producer being put in place.
Lots of reality hurdles to jump in Atlanta. Stay tuned.
