Victoria Siegel, Daughter of ‘Queen of Versailles’ Stars Dead at 18
Tragedy has struck one of the wealthiest families in south Florida. “The Queen of Versailles”stars David and Jackie Siegel’s teem daughter, Victoria Siegel, is dead at 18.
Victoria was found unresponsive in their Windermere home, Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Jeff Williamson said. She was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, where she was pronounced dead. Williamson said the medical examiner was still determining the cause of death.
Her dad, time-share mogul, David Siegel said he would not comment until an official statement is released.
“The victim’s father has informed investigators that he will be making a statement in the coming days regarding the death of his daughter and is requesting privacy at this time,” Williamson said.
Jackie Siegel posted the following message on her Facebook page,
“It is with great sadness that we ask you to respect our privacy during this tragic time and the loss of our beloved daughter, Victoria. Thank you all for your prayers and for your support. As more information comes out the family will share it, until that time there is no comment.”
The Siegels may be best known for their 2012 documentary, “Queen of Versailles,” which followed them as they built a second 90,000-square-foot mansion, called Versailles House, on Kirkstone Lane near Windermere, which they have said they hope to complete by David’s 80th birthday in May 2016.
The Siegels most recently appeared on last Wednesday’s episode of the ABC reality show “Wife Swap.”
