As we reported, Kim Richards, star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” attended her daughter’s, Brooke Brinson’s wedding in Cabo last weekend. Reportedly, Kim was under the influence at the wedding and caused a major scene pissing off the bride. Reports surfaced that after the wedding, Kim went missing and ditched rehab.
A family friend confirmed, Kim was “out of it” and “in a bit of a fog” at the wedding, but maintains that she was not openly drinking alcohol. The insider revealed, Kim sat next to her sister Kyle Richards during the ceremony last Saturday. The friend also said, Kim was “together the first half of the ceremony,” but didn’t comment on the rest of the evening. When the married couple hosted a farewell brunch on Sunday, Kim was MIA. Supposedly her friends and family had no idea of her whereabouts and were concerned.
According to TMZ Live, on May 28th, Kim finally made contact with her family but there is no mention of the RHOBH star’s actual whereabouts. More importantly, she has NOT returned to rehab to complete her treatment for addiction to alcohol and controlled substances. Kim went so much off the rails at the wedding that her sober coach quit and left her in Mexico.
Supposedly, Richards’ attorney was in the process of negotiating a plea deal in connection with Kim’s drunken rampage arrest in April. Earlier this month, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office moved to criminally prosecute the reality star. Richards was formally charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a cop. Since being criminally charged, Richards’ attorney has been in talks with the DA to get his client off the hook, using her rehab staycation as leverage but her recent stint in Mexico may thwart all efforts.
