Amber Marchese underwent a partial mastectomy two days ago to remove a cancerous lump found in her breast and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star is remaining optimistic. Having already survived cancer previously, Amber is more determined the second time around than ever.
Sharing a gym selfie one day before her surgery, Amber’s post captions “This is a day before my surgery. I took it because I am going to crush cancer with my bicep and of course with my strong will and faith in God.”
Late last month Amber found a lump in her breast while relaxing at home. Since it was confirmed as cancerous, the RHONJ star says she’s turned to her faith and her fans. Amber’s husband, Jim, has been by his wife’s side every step of the way,
“She’s really appreciative of everyone’s thoughts and prayers,” he says. “She’ll be back on her feet in a few days. She’s going to keep going and keep fighting.”
