The gloves are off and alliances are broken (almost). It is the morning after. Melyssa (who is too gorgeous for the penciled eyebrow look) drops in on Greg and Demetria. Demetria is nursing a cold, worrying about book sales, and defending Geneva as Melyssa wonders why Geneva didn’t try to reel her friend in. Melyssa calls Geneva someone who loves drama, Demetria calls Geneva supersensitive. Melyssa, swinging with both hands,  asks why Geneva ended up arrested if she has a system that works for her as Demetria claims. Whoops, Demetria does NOT like the question.  I think it’s because she can’t think of a qualifying answer. Demetria is happy the book is being sold and there are no online comments about the disruption. She refuses to go after her friend over the incident. Honestly, I don’t remember anyone getting worked up before she pointed out the ‘noise” at the back table.

Chantelle and Geneva look no worse for wear from the previous night. Chantelle describes Greg as “on his period.” Ah misogyny! As mentioned earlier by Demetria, Geneva has been texting and apologizing for the night before. Chantelle and Geneva differ in their opinions of how disruptive the behavior was. While Geneva felt they should have all been quiet during the Q&A, both believe getting the security guard to  toss them out was excessive. It scares me to fully agree with Geneva on anything, but here it is! If Chantelle was as bored as she said, she had her phone, and presumably an internet connection, email access, and apps. Any teen could have told her how to ignore a talking adult by using your e-access.  The conversation takes a turn when Amy, Bravo’s other matchmaker, calls to let Chantelle know that she’s been set up with a powerful real estate developer. We begin to hear about Chantelle’s plans for a family and children before we get to the first date. She describes most of the “great catches” before this “great catch” as “mental.” Needless to say, she is cautiously optimistic.

Back at Demetira’s we learn that she has a scheduled photoshoot on Long Island and Melyssa lets her know that through her broker connections, she has access to a large home In the Hamptons for the weekend. Can you imagine being the homeowner and seeing your home displayed on a Bravo show? NOPE! Melyssa and Arzo have a weekend getaway planned and the talk turns to who will be there. Answer: Everyone. Excellent! Greg and Demetria decide that Chantelle is annoying but ultimately Melyssa and Demetria think all of the women should be invited.

Mica and Kevin are being cute together, as always. It is apparently his first visit as she gives him the tour and introduces him to “Paulina” her exercise stripper pole. We’ve seen her work that thing, so he shouldn’t be as excited as he is. It feels odd to her to have a man in her apartment since Terry moved out a mere five months ago. I’m glad Mica is taking her time but it’s not as if they are running nude through the halls.  They are having a mellow conversation about Kevin’s excitement around returning to NYC.  They talk about their past relationships and we find out that Kevin was once married, the relationship lasting 8 years.  He is adamant that he would do it again. Ok, folks, is Bravo setting us up, again?  He seems too good to be true. Poor Mica, who has either forgotten that Kevin will see her TH interview, or doesn’t care, describes him as boring but stable with a good job. She gets biblical and starts talking about how the man is supposed to provide for the woman, she is not supposed to pay for everything. I can’t even go anywhere with that.

Greg and Demetria each drop a bombshell while cake tasting. Demetria thinks that brown people should only eat brown foods. Yup, she’s a writer, because who else could make that crap up??? I hope we are also allowed to eat red, green, and yellow foods. too, or there is real trouble. That goodness she doesn’t work for the FDA. She should have run that line by her PR person, first. You just KNOW Sir Andy is going to bring it up at the reunion.  More book talk and then Greg drops his bombshell – which  is harsh, but less idiotic. He wants her to disinvite the ever disrespectful Geneva from the wedding.  OUCH! Ok, it, too, was idiotic. It reduces his bride-to-be to tears.

Time for the Hamptons. These ladies know how to travel, without  the unnecessary drama. They arrive in small groups, the last to arrive are Geneva, Daisy and Chantelle – who is still annoyed about being thrown out and doesn’t feel she was “boozy broad” enough to warrant such behavior. Demetria drives alone. Arzo and Chantelle’s dogs get along like gangbusters. There’s a lesson in there somewhere. We end the arrivals with Demetria telling Geneva they have talk about the wedding. Whoops.

We get an interstitial, the setting is Mica’s apartment. She is  beatboxing and Daisy is  rapping that “Mica is black and she ain’t a alcoholic.” I’m torn between thinking it’s cute and hoping the city issues a noise citation. Cute is winning out.

Back in the Hamptons, Demetria is sharing Greg’s feelings about the book launch and upcoming wedding. Geneva is shocked. She can’t believe she’s being held accountable for another woman’s behavior…Chantelle, who was in the kitchen when the discussion started, relays the information to the other women who are equally shocked. In kitchen, the two friends decide to continue to work on things, later as the rest of the group comes in, Geneva is informed that she will most likely have to apologize to Greg. Wow!

The ladies bring a touch of class to the Hamptons by playing “Truth or Dare.” Sit back: Daisy had a drunken one night stand (with an African) that she describes as awful. She does a horribly insensitive mock tribal dance. Demetria’s kink is that she watches porn. Mica explains what happened with Terry – it just didn’t work out. Melyssa is asked if she’s ever slept with two men in one day, she says no, Mica jokes that she’s a liar. Chantelle agrees to go out into the night and skinny dip in the pool. As she strips down,  the other women stand around screaming and shrieking like drunken college students (poor neighbors). They allow her to keep her underwear on. Geneva praises Chantelle’s body as if she is living vicariously through her. Daisy is in love with Chantelle’s concealer since her make up didn’t run. Arzo wants to know what will happen with Chantelle’s hair (shade). Demetria says her mother hugged her as a child, so she won’t do just anything for attention. DAMN! Shade and the whole tree. Killjoy!

When Daisy refuses a drink, Geneva jokingly asks her if she is trying to be “Christ-like.” The ladies realize that Geneva was not yet at the table during the lunch meeting when everyone else was told about her cancer. Geneva is told privately and takes it hard because 1) she is the last to know, 2) now she feels as if she was inappropriate with Daisy, and 3) her own grandmother is with cancer, right now.

The group continues with the game after tears are shed (Geneva’s), prayers to Black Jesus are offered (Demetria’s) and Daisy works to make everyone feel good again. It should be noted that while Daisy is holding her own Q&A, Melyssa is protesting love to Geneva for offering help to Daisy. Geneva, Melyssa, and Arzo, are entertaining each other as Daisy answers questions. Mmmm hmmmm…Mica, of all people, is annoyed. Daisy notices their behavior, too.
