Yolanda Foster’s bout with Lyme Disease has not been an easy road. And as “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s illness worsens, she’s forced to opted out of major events to deal with severity of her health. A new report suggests her husband, David Foster, is strongly persuading her to resign from her reality gig. The RHOBH star routinely explores alternative treatments for her Chronic Neurological disorder. Last month Yolanda flew to Singapore with David to seek medical care and currently she’s in Germany with her family exploring treatment options.

Although season five of the Bravo series just finished airing, season six is already scheduled to begin production this summer and producers are meeting with the stars to structure story arcs for the upcoming season. A source tells Radar Online,

“David has told Yolanda there is just no way she can return to the show because her condition is just getting worse. The Lyme disease is just ravaging her, and traveling for the international medical treatments is taking a toll. Yolanda is extremely weak, and her memory is suffering,” the source said. “David is just being protective because he doesn’t want any of the ladies to use her illness against her, as he knows those women are vicious.”

Yolanda has been candid about her struggle and routinely shares health updates via social media. She does this in an effort to raise awareness for her plight. Yolanda Foster recently shared a photo via Instagram of herself lying on her back in the grass, surrounded by flowers.

The source added,

“It will break Yolanda’s heart if she can’t be on RHOBH because she wants to use the platform to raise awareness about the illness.”

While Yolanda participated in the first half of the RHOBH reunion (season five), due to her sickness, she was not able to film the entire reunion. Yolanda opened up about the struggles of Lyme Disease in her final Bravo blog.

“My world has become very small. I have moved into an apartment with my husband and son in order to have a more manageable scope of responsibilities while I recover slowly and learn to take life one day at a time. Getting well is my full-time job these days. I am a determined warrior, and even though this has brought me to my knees, I know God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling.”
