The future of the “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” still hangs in the balance, as evidenced by the recent revelation that no Jersey cast members have been invited to an important network event called the NBC Upfronts. The event allows the media to be introduced to the upcoming season’s shows on Bravo.
According to a released appearance list, there are no New Jersey cast members scheduled to attend. The Atlanta, New York, Orange County, and Beverly Hills franchises will all have cast members making appearances.
While it has been reported that the show will indeed proceed without reality diva turned prison inmate, Teresa Giudice, the possible network snub raises new questions about the direction and alleged production schedule of the Jersey franchise. It is possible that due to the delayed nature of the franchise’s plans to film, cast appearances wouldn’t be relevant, for the upcoming season. Could a cast hunt still be underway, delaying production? Lots of questions remain unanswered, but as of now, Bravo’s New Jersey reality is uncharacteristically silent.
