If you were on twitter last night, then you had a front row seat to watching Countess LuAnn take down some of the other housewives and it was a glorious thing to behold! The Countess LuAnn won the internet last night, maybe today, and has possibly won the nets for a month from now as well. Warning, the following slap down is not for the faint of heart.
The first shots fired regarded Carol’s childlike obsession with keeping her boy toy relationship a secret from the Countess:
Getting to the heart of the matter (and I do mean heart), we learn why she is so upset with Carole’s adolescent behavior. On Carole “distracting” Adam while they were playing ping pong by taking off her jacket and revealing a low-cut shirt:
Then the Countess touched on Carole’s pronouncement that a screwing emoji is needed to let your friends know that you are sleeping with your new love interest:
Fans’ reaction? Priceless! The Countess was feeling the love when she Retweeted the following tweets:
Move over, Michael, I think that *I* became Countess LuAnn’s number one fan, tonight. Not only did I not drop the “a” to lower case, I would have printed her entire name in all caps, if I thought my editor would let me get away with it.
On Heather’s bleating on about Kristen not being invited to Bethnny’s birthday dinner, Countess LuAnn and Bethenny found common ground:
But there is still love for a new wife:
Ditto on admiring Dorinda’s protective maternal instincts! I am amazed that any man would want to know his “numbered place” in a relationship between a mother and daughter. Dorinda is far more tolerant than I am. Any man who doesn’t see the family as a unit, but as a hierarchy, would have finished that dinner alone in my world. That would have been our last dinner.
I think Dorinda is a strong mother and seemingly a strong person overall. I’m glad that fits in, well, with the veteran wives and was only mildly part of the Countess LuAnn reign of tasty terror:
If this is the NEW LuAnn de Lesseps, this should be one fiery and amazing season of the RHONY. Between Bethenny and LuAnn taking Heather and Carole down, I think I’m actually going to love this season!
I’m an exasperated soap fan who keeps hanging on – waiting for the daytime I once loved to return to its former glory! Hey, it doesn’t hurt to have a dream. I learned to love soaps thanks to my wonderful mother and grandmother. I’ll always have fond memories of daytime, most especially of ‘Another World’, my first stoap love. The ever great, but sadly defunct, daytime shows like Ryan’s Hope, Search for Tomorrow, The Doctors, Loving, and many others keep a special place in my heart, as well.
