It was only a matter of time! After numerous postponements, Joe Giudice’s DMV identity fraud case is finally coming to a close.

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star appeared in a Passaic County courtroom today to be sentenced. In October, Giudice pled guilty and accepted an 18-month plea deal for using his brother’s marriage and birth certificates to obtain a new license after he lost his because of a drunken driving conviction.

Today, Superior Court Judge, Adam Jacobs, ruled Giudice’s drivers license will be suspended for a duration of  two years and he has to pay a fine of $10,000.

Giudice will start serving his 18-month sentence in 2016 after his wife, Teresa Giudice is released from prison after serving her 15-month prison sentence. Joe’s prison term will be served concurrently, which essentially means, he will not serve any additional time to his 3.5 year federal prison sentence.
